I do not think that there can ever be enough books about anything and I say that knowing that some of them are going to be about Pilates. The more knowledge the better seems like a solid rule of thumb, even though I have watched enough science fiction films to accept that humanity’s unchecked pursuit of learning will end with robots taking over the world.-Sarah Vowell

America\s Greatest Warriors: Avengers Unleashed Vol 1: Kang War One by Mark Waid (Writer). Mike Del Mundo (Artist, Colorist), Marco D'Alfonso (Colorist), VC's Cory Petit (Letterer)

I really don't know what to say about this comic.  Is it good is it bad? I don't know but it is written by one of my favorite authors Marc Waid and he has written Doctor Strange, Superman, Flash, Deadpool including the famous one where he gets married. So this has the potential to be good.  But the story doesn’t come together really well and the artwork is awful and amateurish. The only

This contains an awful lot of people including Hercules, female Thor, male Thor, Wasp, Vision, Spider-Man, and Sam Wilson as Captain Our faithful heroes are fighting against the completely unheard of Kang and Scarlet Centurion. The two of them are after Vision for stealing Kang’s baby form. They get Vision’s head and crack it open only to find that the information about the baby’s location has been downloaded elsewhere.

The avengers are joined by Vision from the future who tells them that he knows the location of the baby. Meanwhile, Kang and Scarlet Centurion go back in time to kill the babies of all Avengers minus Hercules for whom his baby’s location is unknown.

How will the Avengers get out of this tangled mess? Kang is truly evil and they must decide if wiping him out is worth it. I really didn’t much care for this book. I was disappointed in Waid. And the art is to be seen in order to appreciate how godawful it is. I give this book one star out of five.
