Gwen Stacy, aka, Ghost Spider, is having another usual day of capturing the Bodega Bandit, when she decides to go visit in the Multi-verse and finds herself hit with a power that splits her personality into six parts: Thorgwen, Captain America, Wolverine, Captain Mar-vell, and Iron G.W.E.N. An influencer from the future, Finale, plans on living forever in the past and drains all of her fans of life to do it. Spider Zero helps her untangle the strings of the Web of Life and Destiny and restore Ghost Spider's Earth-65 to normal. But she needs the help of the other Gwens, and they are all pieces of her personality that do not get along. Gwen will have to corral them if they have any hope of success.
This was a great comic. I decided to read it when I found out about it in Shadow Clones. The art is amazing. Nishijma really recreates the Gwen superheroes in ways unique to them. Nishijma also creates a very vivid and colorful world of now and the future. Seely has written a stellar story to go along with art that tells of how a selfish being from the future tries to destroy the Multiverse. I found this graphic novel to be the perfect addition to my Spider-Gwen collection.
