Mayor Wilson Fisk is out to get any masked vigilante but especially Daredevil. A cop from Chicago named North has been brought in to help with the situation and he hates vigilantes unlike some of the cops on the saads who have been helped by them. Then one-night Daredevil answers the call to an armed robbery at a liquor store and is forced to fight the three guys; Daredevil is always careful about how much pressure to apply so as to knock them out without killing them. But that night one of them died; And Matt went a little crazy;
Foggy told him to turn himself in that maybe that'd let him keep the suit; But Matt knows better than that; Matt believes that Fisk is behind this; That he is innocent; Daredevil then goes to the hospital to talk with one of the doctors who tells him that it was his screwup. Then he goes and beats up on the homeless and picks up on a lead at a club; The same lead North and his partner get so the two groups arrive at the same time; North draws his gun on Daredevil and he uses his nunchucks on his partner; Daredevil gets shot and goes down, But that's just where Daredevil wants to be because he can overcome his opponent from this position; He picks up a disguise from a shop and keeps ongoing but is soon surrounded by the police;
Does Daredevil have no one to help him? Yes, he does; He has Frank Castle who helps him out of this mess. The two get to talking about how Matt has crossed the line and how this probably wasn't the first time he has. Soon the two are fighting each other with machine guns and handguns and at first, Matt is only going for the Kevlar shots but soon something takes over--the Devil--and he is out to kill;
I really love the last comic where he is visited by a special guest who has something important to say that Matt just might listen to. This is a powerful comic with lost of cameos; Matt must try and face what he has done which is something so heinous he cannot believe that he has done it; And when he finally accepts the fact that he has indeed done it he loses it and goes on a rage spree/ The writing is phenomenal and the artwork is just plain fabulous/ This book is incredible and truly worth reading; I give it five out of five stars'
